A New Role: IOD Essex Ambassador
I’m delighted to share that I’ve been appointed as an Ambassador for Essex — a milestone that feels especially meaningful given my journey across both commercial and charitable ventures. The IoD has championed high standards of leadership, governance and entrepreneurial excellence for over a century.
One of the things I’ve come to value most in my own development is being part of strong peer sets — groups of leaders who challenge, support and stretch one another. None of us grows in isolation. The conversations, shared experiences, and trusted perspectives we gain from peers accelerate our learning and help us navigate the tougher moments with clarity and confidence. The IoD plays a vital role in creating that environment, bringing people together who want to raise their game and lift others as they do it.
In my work as a Certified EOS Implementer with EOS Worldwide and TheGivingMachine Charity coaching and mentoring business leaders building purposeful organisations, I’ve seen first-hand how ethical leadership and strong governance create long-term value — not just financially, but culturally, socially, and ethically.
As IoD Ambassador, I’m looking forward to helping foster that same mindset across our community: promoting leadership as a force for good, informed decision-making as a foundation for growth, and values-driven governance as the way forward.
Here’s to new links, learning, and leadership made real.
